Have to admit that the prior checkpoint widget was visually more appealing and invited to click. New one reacts sort of weird to widget styles, since you cannot change the colors enough (for example, different colored font for the option/title text and the text underneath).
Would be awesome to get more visual options for the widget itself. Not as a visual style, but from widget edits. For example, would be cool if you could decide what answer markers to use. Now it is letters, but could be numbers, emojis, etc. And the answer marker box should be available in different colors than the widget background.
These options would make it more suitable for different uses as well!
Thanks Jutta for your feedback and request. We will take a look at the widget. One improvement that was introduced in the New Howspace was a text editor for the Feedback text, the second row of the options. Now you can use bold, lists etc. to make the content more readable.
Different options for the marker is something that I hope that we can introduce them soon. In the old version there were options for numbers, letters and empty option. Currently we have only letters as you wrote.
We are trying to keep the visuals all based on the widget styles to keep the user experience as coherent as possible and to avoid complexity in the widget level.
Sorry. I checked it again. The marker can already be left empty.
Thanks, Ilkka!
Now the clickable text and the text opening up underneath both follow the content text style of the widget. One thing could be to change the clickable text to follow header style, which could be used to add colour to it, while the longer text underneath would stay content style.
Thanks Jutta, we will consider you suggestion.
