Formatting text in chats

In some workspaces, longer messages are sent to users through chats. It would be nice to be able to format these messages by using bold and other styles to enhance readability. 🌟

Thanks for your suggestion. This is actually something we are figuring out for the new UI that we are currently building. We want to keep the editing interface as simple as possible, but I agree that often some very basic formatting would be very nice. I'll keep this idea up-to-date with the solution when we have one.

Also missing formating options in text widget. 
Increasing and decreasing font size and color properties are much needed

Ivana are you missing those for chats or widget descriptions? We have moved most of the formatting away from text editor since it made maintaining bigger workspaces pretty much impossible (you needed to make color and font changes to hundreds of places if your visual style changes). We are still thinking about good middle ground and how to add more flexibility, but still keep it all maintainable.

Can you open some use cases where current formatting options are not enough (multiple widget styles, using headings, cursive, bold and highlight styles inside description etc)?
