Full page width containers with background options

I would love to have the option to make container layouts full page width, with the option of choosing a full page width "block" background per container. At the moment I can only see that I can have a page background along with widget backgrounds.

Perhaps it would be possible by adding edit options to containers as well (as from the Page visuals attached), with added option to make container full page width. Either columns follow proportionally (margins adjusted to full page) or they stay fixed.

Thanks for the idea. We will consider new layout options during or after the new UI.

Also "Canvas page/container" might give more creative use cases for more visual layouts.

We discussed this with our designer this week.  I like the idea. 

Thanks for the feedback Ilkka. It would then make it really easy to get a look and feel that is closer to many current website layouts (including yours and ours 😜)
