Development of idea notifications from my customer: I am involved in the network's workspace, where there is a lot of discussion around different topics, on different pages. It would be important for me to be able to choose which page I want to receive notifications from. Would it be possible to add such a feature?
Good and interesting idea! Also other way around would be "muting" certain widgets and pages.
While I (as a power user) like it, since it gives me more power to control what I will be notified, it also feels a bit difficult to implement as a simply and intuitive manner. Where to subscribe/mute these notifications? How to manage them? Should admins be able to bypass these?
Often this kind of things create a more questions and complexities and in the end, but definitely there is a room for improvements on our notifications.
I would like to add a similar request which might be connected to this one here.
One customer has the situation that several pages with different modules are created within a workspace and these modules are moderated by different facilitators. The facilitators are only interested in notifications relating to their modules and not what else is happening in the workspace. Especially with regard to e-mail notifications when new comments are created.
Can e.g. e-mail notifications or even Whats new only be set for certain user groups? And in addition, there is probably the difficulty with the pages, as mentioned above and how to manage all that. But just to add as a similar request.
