Update calendar event or notify users for changes in Booking widget

Example of a problematic sitation: a user books a seat in an event through the Booking widget. They receive a confirmation email with a calendar event that they then add to their calendar. Later, an admin notices that the event was marked to start at the wrong time and edit it in the Booking widget.

This change directly affects those who booked a seat in the event in question, but the system doesn't notify them, and calendar events are not updated. As a result, the user would go in at the time their calendar shows and be confused why there's no one there, while the admin would be confused as to why people didn't show up at the time of the event.

Would it be possible to edit the calendar events if changes are made in the Booking widget, or at least automatically notify users if changes are made to their booking (or half-automatically with a pop-up asking about it when an admin edits something)? Somewhat close to this, if a user cancels their booking, the calendar event isn't automatically removed.
